From UltraVNC :UltraVNC is a powerful, easy to use and free software that can display the screen of another computer (via internet or network) on your own screen. The program allows you to use your mouse and keyboard to control the other PC remotely. It means that you can work on a remote computer, as if you were sitting in front of it, right from your current location.
If you provide computer support, you can quickly access your customer's computers from anywhere in the world and resolve help-desk issues remotely. With addons like SingleClick your customers don't even have to pre-install software or execute complex procedures to get remote help-desk support.

"Free and works well most of the time but buggy"
Pros: Free (always a plus). The Ultra setting renders the screen pretty fast, but really need to be on a local network. File manager is handy when want to copy files from/to host and remote.
Cons: The Auto mode doesn't always connect successfully. Sometimes it will connect but will crash while screen rezzes. No color depth setting between 256 and all colors (millions).
Summary: I wish it had more flexibility to adjust color depth with throughput so can have more than 256 colors but less than 16 million to increase refresh rate but still look acceptable. The file manager feature is reminiscent of a graphical FTP program. ... read more >>

"Works with Windows 7, but not well with OSX"
Pros: Loads and works fine with Win-7. See cons
Cons: Does not allow for consistent connections when remoting to a MAC running OS/X 10.6. Get a prompt to enter my password, then right back to my desktop.
Summary: Great for the price, there are some drawbacks with the product at its current release level. Overall a fine product, for home use. I could recommend this for enterprise use yet.
