Despite its unappealing facade, this no-frills clock utility handles well. Ultimate Stopwatch's drab interface won't win any beauty accolades, but it's easy enough for anyone to operate. Once downloaded, you'll find a stopwatch and a countdown clock that can be set to count up or down from a user-specified start time. We liked that the controls, including Start, Pause, Stop, Clear, and Lap Time, could be maneuvered using user-specified hot keys. What's more, you're able to send results to a clipboard or save them in text files. An alarm feature definitely would add more purpose to this clock utility, and options to spruce up the digital display also would have been nice additions.
Ultimate Stopwatch performed well, though it hovered awkwardly on top of the other windows and wouldn't let us hide or minimize the digital display to the taskbar. If you can get past the unattractive appearance and a few design quirks, then Ultimate Stopwatch may be a suitable clock utility for you.

The application uses hotkeys to control all the functions of the application, even if the application is not the active application or even if it is hidden. The hot keys activation keys can be defined by the user. Ultimate Stopwatch uses a simple, intuitive design to make installing the application using it immediately quick and easy. Lap time functionality make creating split times quick and easy.
All timer results can be viewed in the results window, and can also be copied to the clipboard as well as saved to a file. The list of features include: stopwatch (count up), countdown clock (count down), custom start value for countdown clock as well as stopwatch, hot keys (work even if application is not active or hidden), enable/disable hotkeys, results window, copy results to clipboard, save results to file, show/hide GUI, set GUI transparency and set result highlight colors.
