It appears that corporate advertising shills are trying to insert false information along with good reliable information. Merlot_1 recommends a few good antispyware apps along with with a known rogue like Spyware Begone. Here is the review of that POS from the The Spyware Warrior List of Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products & Web Sites.
aggressive advertising (1); false positives work as goad to purchase; free scanner uses out of date ref database; same company as Spyware Vanisher.
This app is of by and for corporate advertisers. It is a phony which is published, either given away or sold, by corporate advertisers who also distribute both adware and spyware.
Don't be fooled.
Horrible piece of junk! Is a suspect in Ad-Aware, Spyware Doctor, and Spybot! And...what really amuses me is that it asks for a DONATION!! Don't Download..this is absolutely HORRIBLE!

Who do you crapware/spyware mongers have on the inside working for C-Net? This thing is clearly junk, and pimasoft has a history of making misleading false claims and hawking absolute garbage.
C-NET is swiftly loosing it's it's credibility in all but the eyes of the gullible, for listing useless ROGUE anti-spyware software, while yet claiming that they care about their customers and support the war against spyware.
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. - Abraham Lincoln
