Editors' reviewThis privacy utility won't cost you anything, but then again, it offers little in return. Though the program does indeed display Web-surfing traces such as temporary and cached files, it confuses the matter by also showing other unrelated documents and files you've accessed. This causes searches to be especially slow, and in some occasions, the program froze up. You can apply filters to narrow down results, but we're sure this program could have been designed to automatically weed out other types of files. We also found the huge ad that occupies much of the interface decidedly unappealing. Most basic privacy-protection programs will at least remove your Web-surfing tracks, but this one simply shows you their location. And forget about extras such as the ability to clean up traces of third-party programs and from common system areas. We don't see much benefit in downloading URL Finder, as its primary purpose appears to be an ad-delivery medium.
When you browse the Internet, your computer watches your activity and keeps Internet tracks. If you are interested in Internet Erasing software, you should know where these tracks are stored. The purpose of this program is to teach people what is really going on with their hard drive when you are surfing the Web and how to take control of their privacy. The program scans the selected disk and searches for files, which contain specified Internet addresses.
