  Only worked for a small amount of time before I started getting error messages. Downloaded what I thought was latest version. Even bought another version for a second computer and had the same problem. Sent email to customer service and never heard back.

  Very fast download and easy to use GUI. When it *used* to work.

  Does not work anymore. I am in very large company when I say that the company does not return my emails about the product either. I *had* been a very happy, customer before it stopped working a few months ago. I thought the $15 price tag was very well worth it. I am very disappointed now. What's going on TubeSock (Stinkbot)? We want you back!

  Of course, DO NOT buy this product until they come back online and fix it. It appears they have abandoned ship on it, which is a huge disappointment. When (IF?) they do fix it and bring it back up to par, it will no doubt rock again. I think this time YouTube caught up with them and they just said 'forget it'. :( Wish they would have let us know too while they were at it.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 3, 2011<p/>Just saw that there is a newer version of TubesSock available, TubeSock 5! I love it! Looks like previous registrants (like me) will have to shell out $19 this time as opposed to $15 originally but if Stinkbot stays true to it's word, unless they jump from versions like this one from 3.x to 5.0, you will only have to pay once and upgrades are free. I definitely love this new one. I will stick with TubeSock as long as they don't do this again; at least without telling us. So if you liked TubeSock before it crapped out (3.x) than you will love the new one.

  Guess I should have downloaded a demo before shelling out $15. Sent an email to the developer and didn't hear back. Looks like it is no longer supported. But if that's the case, the site oughta be taken down.

  I keep getting the message "Download Failed bad URL". It worked fine earlier in the day and stopped working a few hours later. Emails about the problem have gone unanswered.

  If this application did what it said, it would be worth the $15 registration fee.

  This is sold with limited functionality until you register. I registered but have not been able to download any videos at all; I only get an error message. Emails to Stinkbot's support have gone unanswered.

  Summary

  I have to echo the other reviewer - it seems that they are selling software that is not functional. It's very disappointing and I would be reluctant to register shareware in the future that has limited functionality (as opposed to fully functional shareware for a limited period of time.) I will file a dispute with PayPal and hope for the best!

  The link to get the registration code is faulty- and the owner never responds to your emails. It's like he's collection the money, but not there anymore. Have sent 4 emails, no response. Can't us program without the code!!!! I'm calling it STEALING

  Pros

  Made great copies of any youtube video and in my case sends them to iTunes. It works with other applications as well.

  Cons

  This software is no longer supported by the developer. They are completely unresponsive to email requests for information as to why software is no lnoger working. This application no works on the youtube site. They are still taking money for it.

  Summary

  I've used this software for about four years and have enjoyed it a great deal. But about two months ago it stopped working. There's been no explanation either by email or on the website. I have written them numerous times and have gotten no response. The website is still up and I clicked on the buy it now link and it takes you to paypal.com so it seems they are still taking money for this software. I have checked for updates there have been none. I'm not sure why they have chosen to do this, this way. But I would be cautious about spending money on this software unless you get assurances from the site that it still works. Good luck, I haven't been able to get any kind of answers.

  Works great; adds videos to iTunes, where you can sync them with your iPod. Very happy with purchase.
