Version: Tubby 0.6.1
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. The support rocks, all the more amazing since this is freeware.
I contacted the developer regarding the issue with opening files in 10.3.9, now about a week later he's already fixed Tubby with a new version. Even with shareware I've never experienced such responsivness from a developer.
Now I'm almost done purging my HD of that nasty-arse proprietary windows CHM format. 'Tis a great day, when you can say you have one less Microsoft file type on your system.
Tubby does what it says, does it well, and is in active development. It's even free. Good luck finding other freeware this good!

At last, Mac users can expand and read on their machines .chm files, the Microsoft help format used for many (too many) ebooks. Just drag and drop the file you want to read and click the expand button. That's all. It could be helpful if one could choose a folder where to expand the files. Thanks again.
