"What do you want for free?"

It has some cool features and doesn't take up much room.
Running the lyrics screen full-screen won't pop it back into the main monitor, like some.
Built-in pitch change.
Multiplex capability built in.
It's free!Cons
Database is vague (no performer/title/disk designations)

"Free, quick and simple way to enjoy karaoke on your PC"
Version: TriKaraoke MP3+G Player (Free) 1
Pros
Free! Easy to install and use. I was adding songs to the playlist in less than 5 minutes. Lyrics screen is scaleable up to fullscreen. Supports drag n drop from explorer windows. Supports MP3+G zipped files
Cons
Quick Find only works in current playlist, no search function. Sometimes won't play songs added to playlist. Doesn't look for mp3+g files by default, you must drop the file type box. Song Manager is only a portal to their online store
Summary
Overall it's a great program, it's the only free player I've found so far for MP3+G zipped files. So if you're looking for an alternative to buying CompuHost or having to unzip your files for WinAmp, and you don't need fancy extra features like song queues and performer histories then this is a perfect solution. You can leave a windows search box open in your Karaoke folder and find your files that way, then drag them to the playlist. Or you can leave the entire startup folder open in the list and use the quick search to find a song and play it. Hopefully with future revisions they'll fix the bug about not playing some songs when you add them and add a file search function.

"Top marks for an excellent CD+G Player"
Version: TriKaraoke MP3+G Player (Free) 1
Pros
Everything! Works first time, has seperate search window, seperate screen, Key changer. Unlike Sax and Dotty's which needs extra 3rd party software to work. Gets 2 thumbs up from me.
Cons
Non, Remember it's free so don't complain about lack of singer cue list
Summary
I downloaded this programme and it worked first time, no extra downloads, works with zip files that contain cdg and mp3 files, (I recommend "MP3+G toolz" to convert them). It comes with Nenas 99 red baloons to get you started and lt indexed my 15000+ files in a couple of mins. Althoug US biased the downloadable tracks seem reasonably priced (cheaper than Sunflys Pro Burn) although I have not tried this yet. To sum up, it its very easy to use with a very quick song finding file system, you can display your own picture on screen as a background. Excellent programme, Highly recommemded for the budget concious KJ.
