This AppleScript force-empties your Trash and/or removes stubborn items. Especially useful if you have files or folders in the Trash with permissions set incorrectly, locked Trash items, want to securely delete a stuck item, or trash items from other partitions. If you drop files or folders onto the Trash It! icon, it will delete them immediately. If you double-click on it, it will clean out your Trash can.
What's new in this version:
- Removed the use of the 24U Appearance OSAX (so no progress bar). This was based on user feedback.
- 64-bit ready. Can be opened in 32-bit mode as well.
- Choose between Fast delete and items that are Really Stuck (when emptying the trash).
- Removed Secure Delete as it was too slow, a resource hog, and users didn’t care for it.

This is essential for Mac Trash, which doesn't' work properly on its own. Apple should include this function in it's updates. Thanks.

A superb app. Freed about 100GB of my space in a jiffy. Took a li'l time to clean the Trash with my Seagate drive connected. But still it was a fraction of the time spent on my repeated and failed attempts with my 10.6.8 and about an hour of searching on the net.
