"Fun but resulte very much impossible"
Version: Title Bout Championship Boxing 2.5
Pros
Gives the player alot of fighters and does rate them (their own very bias way) and unfortunately results only prove to be flawed.
Cons
Used the game to do heavyweight title bout history. Game was wrong 62% of the time. Certain fighters are virtually unbeatable....example Mike McCallum won 65 straight bouts against the best. KD 4 times by Hearns & won on cuts at 2:42 of round 15.
Summary
The game can be very fun but extremely frustrating because the results are so very inaccurate. On the above example of McCallum. On the game he beat Ray Robinson four times, Marvin Hagler six times, kayoed Ray Leonard and Duran. He finally lost to Frank Fletcher? Frank Fletcher? In heavyweight action, iron chinned George Chuvalo got knocked down three times by Terry Daniels, but Chuvalo also knocked out both Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano (twice). Floyd Patterson defeated Mike Tyson but lost to Duane Bobick. Recently I matched one fighter with a fighter rating of 9 aginst six fighters with ratings from 1 to 5. The better fighter lost to all opponents. He then beat another fighter with a 13 rating. Dont's place any bets on the results of this game.

"Top notch!"
Version: Title Bout Championship Boxing 2.5
Pros
You can fight the classics, what if bouts, create your own fighters, rate your own fighters, the depth is amazing! Run a tournament, schedule 999 fights all at one time, The game's forums house a terrific community that works very well together!
Cons
The graphics are rudimentary, but that doesn't take away from the replay value at all.
Summary
The best feature for me is the community. Many of us run our own fictional universes using the greats from past and present and post them on the forums for the enjoyment of others.
There are always discussions about who's the best fighter in various classes, how YOU rate them compared to others, the game can be easily customized, right down to the ring girls, cut men, trainers, judges, referee's, every aspect of the fights are easily changed to your personal tastes. -
