You select the music file, edit it, and then download it to your phone. There is a graph of the song to help you choose the right segment you want. Plus, now TRM allows you to make customized wallpapers from images on your computer and choose from over 2,000 pre-made true tone ringtone sounds, wallpapers, polyphonic ringtones and animations.
The Ringtone Maker works in the US plus more than 65 countries and with most mobile phones that support real music ringtones and have Internet service through its carrier. No cables required, but you can download the ringtones and wallpapers from your PC to cell phone via cable, Bluetooth, or infrared. Unlimited access, no subscriptions or hidden fees; make dozens, 100s, 1000s of ringtones for every friend, family member, occasion, or mood and never pay for another ringtone. "Not Free, is there a free one?"
Pros: easy user interface, smooth running.
Cons: Is there not a truly free ringtone maker that will not beep throughout your shiny new ringtone???
Summary: I was pretty much satisfied with the whole experience until the ringtone arrived on my phone and found the annoying beeping.

Pros: The program is quick and easy to use. Very user friendly
Cons: The trial puts a watermark over all ringtones you make so the program is pretty useless unless you buy the full thing.

"Very easy to use and straight forward"
Pros: I like to customize my phone as much as I can and so, this is a great tool if you want to convert your music into ringtones, make wallpapers or send SMS. My kids love it too :)

Pros: I was able to convert my mp3 songs into ringtones and get them to my phone with no problems so it does what it said.
Cons: None so far
Summary: I like the fact that it is very easy to use. It didn't took me more than 5 minutes to have my ringtone.
