"More please"

Every time i play the game i get something new out of it (and whene i say new i mean different ways to deal massive amounts of pain to my enemys!) at times i feel like im playing a hong kong action flick. the game is only made more great by Tom Jane as the Punisher. but has to be by far one of the most violent games i have ever played. not the most gorry or bloody, but by far the most violent. its the constant violent acts and that the fact that you can be as brutal to your foes as you want to be, that keeps me playing this little demo. and i keep finding new ways to play. at one point I'll play the game different threw then when im done i turn the games music down and replace it with hard rock/metal. the games a gimmick (theres no doubt about that). but its a gimmick i cant get enough of.
Cons
but as i said above "the games a gimmick." there are other games that do what what is in this game a little better. the main difference is that you can torture your foes. so thuse this game is not for everyone. so unless your really sick (like i am) you'll probably think this game is no big thing. and its short, at point my speed run was about 3 min, maybe less.

This game is somewhat like Max Payne. You go after thugs. However, the friend you are trying to save is still alive, In Max Payne, your wife is dead.
Cons
In the demo, you cannot adjust the mouse senseitivity. hopefully, in the full version, this will not be the case. And, it would have been cool to see the punisher been able to do some of the moves that max payne did-i.e. bullet time, shoot dodging, etc.

Yes, the demo was short; almost worthlessly short. However, it was fun and that's all that matters. I like the fact that you can only carry two weapons + grenades, but the game didn't allow me to carry both a shotgun and an M16. Go figure.

Summary
The Punisher Demo is short, and maybe you can't adjust the mouse, but neither of these things will be in the final release. Be sure to update the demo from version 1 to 1.1 as this adds many fixes for framerates and display. From the moment I started this demo, I can't seem to stop playing the same level over and over again. Each time, I experement with different killings of the enemies. There is nothing like shooting the gun out of one of their hands, grabbing him as he begs you to stop, punching him for a while, then throwing him off of the second floor into a pool of piranas to watch them finish the job for you. There is always something different to do that takes away the boring methods of other shooters- running around and shooting. The game makes you feel more powerful then your enemies, as they cry out in fear while you shoot of their heads. The violence details also shows off the amount of depth but into this game. It makes for a more life like experience. The AI is one fine piece of work. Enemies jump to avoid your bullets and won't shoot at you if you are holding one of their valuable men. Great title, can't wait for the release on Jan 17th.

I'm a die hard Unreal and Halo player. The game does seem similar to Max Payne, but the demo is really short, so it's hard to say for sure. You can use weapons in both hands at the same time. That's cool. Mouse is waaaay too sensitive. And it can't be adjusted from what I've seen. I d-loaded, played for 5 minutes, finished the level and uninstalled. I'll wait for someone I know to buy it, so I can try it out further. Not worth me spending my dinero.

I really liked this game.
Shame the demo is only a short one leveller!
It does play very much like Max Payne but it is class fun, and the lock on shooting isn't great but still fun when you get use to it.
You can kinda head-shot dead ppl which aint the best coz their dead but hey its violent enough!
You can do signature death moves and interragate baddies for information by smashing their face in or drowning them in a near by tank of flesh eating fish! ;o)
Basically I would recommend this game soley on the principles of the Punisher death moves/ and go nuts attack where it slow motions down and he knifes everyone lol.
