This basic privacy-protection application performs its few jobs well enough, but it's far from a comprehensive solution. The Cleaner simply wipes away Web-surfing traces and deletes user history from a few Windows system areas, such as the Run menu and the Recycle Bin. Unfortunately, the app only works with Internet Explorer, neglecting support for popular alternative browsers. This program offers a tool for managing cookies, but unlike some of the better privacy programs on the scene, The Cleaner can't erase your tracks from third-party apps such as the Microsoft Office Suite, IM clients, or P2P programs. Needless to say, you also won't find a file shredder for permanently destroying data. A utility this simple really should be totally free, but you'll only be able to use this program 10 times before the demo expires. Inexperienced Internet Explorer users might appreciate The Cleaner's no-nonsense approach, but anyone wishing a to keep an extremely tight lid on their computer habits will need to keep searching.Publisher's description

Summary: Installed quickly and easily, does it's job well and it's very easy to use. I recommend this download, especially to people who aren't very computer literate, like me. :)

Summary: There are a lot of these tools around, and after having tried them all, I opted for this one. Easy to use, does what you want and cheap too.

Summary: same as Internet Cleaner but with more options...does things that you can do with out this program. It does clean out the internet explorer drop down menu of recently visited sites

Summary: The Cleaner is an ideal tool for getting rid of unwanted files. I bought a single licence, then 8 more for the rest of my company. Can't recommend it enough.
