Publisher's description of Technitium MAC Address Changer
Technitium MAC Address Changer allows you to change Media Access Control (MAC) Address of your Network Interface Card (NIC) irrespective to your NIC manufacturer or its driver. It has a very simple user interface and provides ample of information regarding each NIC in the machine. Every NIC has a MAC address hard coded in its circuit by manufacturer. This hard coded MAC address is used by windows drivers to access Ethernet Networks (LAN).
This tool can set a new MAC address to your NIC, bypassing the original hard coded MAC address. Technitium MAC Address Changer is a must tool in every security professionals tool box. Technitium MAC Address Changer is coded in Visual Basic 6.0. Version 5 Release 3 adds support for Windows Server 2008/Vista Service Pack 2 and Windows 7.

Version: Technitium MAC Address Changer 5.3
Pros: Very User Friendly and it's free. What a bargain.
Cons: None that I think of.
Summary: I ran ipconfig /all in cmd.exe and found what my MAC address was before I installed and it was different after the install. This app allows for random MAC addresses or you can choose the MAC address you would to change it to.

Pros: looks great. User friendly.
Cons: Doesn't work
