• Avoid anything from BimeSoft

  Pros

  No pros. None whatsoever.

  Cons

  No support from BimeSoft. Program does not capture/work with many modern site features.

  Summary

  Very frustrating when the company charges you $60 plus for "pro" version of its software and then ignores repeated e-mails to their support inbox. If I wanted to have somebody not pay attention to me I'd try to talk with my teenage son.

  Pros

  this programs works OK - has some glitches, like no way to just synchronize new changes rather than downloading the whole site again - unnecessary time and memory use. but OK

  Cons

  but worst is that the registration key only works once and when I had to reformat my drive I asked them for a new key or to release my number for the clean install they didn't even bother replying to my email.

  Pros

  It seems easy to use with the project wizard which allows you to select the max level you want to search.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to navigate links within sites very well. I kept getting a LOT of "page not found" problems on just about every site. I know those pages are there because I frequent the sites quite often. One such site was http://us.php.net/soap.

  Summary

  I wouldn't buy this product simply because many sites I went to would not download anything but the main page. I want to be able to download reference sites so that I can work on my web applications offline while having decent on-line references available. This product simply will not work.

  Summary

  Tried to download a full directory (holding sub directories presentations and other office files), and it only downloaded the main html with link to the files and not the files themselves. Tried to play with the conig, but it didn't help.

• Unusable Demo

  When trying to download a site, a nag screen pops up. I don't mind that as it's a demo, but it stops downloading at that point. So, I get one page and then nothing else. So if the full version is any good I've no way of telling. Also, there was no clear way to set the website download destination.
