Publisher's Description
From THQ:
In the 37th century, you are the Supreme Commander of three races, with a single goal in mind to end the 1000 year Infinite War and become the reigning power supreme.
For a thousand years, three opposing forces have waged war for what they believe is true. There can be no room for compromise: their way is the only way. Dubbed The Infinite War, this devastating conflict has taken its toll on a once-peaceful galaxy and has only served to deepen the hatred between the factions.
After centuries of struggle, the battle for supremacy has at last reached a turning point. Under your strategic command and leadership, will your faction will reign supreme? Will you be victorious and elevate your race to domination? Or will you lead them into the hell of defeat and ultimate extinction?
This single-player demo includes part of the early Cybran campaign and one skirmish map, playable on three difficulty settings.

"Like an old version of C&C, graphics/gameply sucked."
Version: Supreme Commander demo
Pros
Not much at all
Cons
Ages to load, graphics were very bad, no minimap, reading health of units hard, no live upgrade information, should have voice "10% health upgrade completed"..., characters were badly created, looked like transformers (LOL), It's like 2010 for f sake.
Summary
Dont bother, just go fish out your C&C red alert. LAME.

"Supreme Commander Demo"
Version: Supreme Commander demo
Pros
Its more of a future-like game with shields and long range guns. Also the boats walk on land amazing idea.
Cons
But to big of a file to waste your day on, but other than that after its downloaded you will be glad you did. Big file = bad ...... other files req. = bad ....... graphics = great but can lag if not right video card or slow internet. It took me 8 hrs for it to download and play 1 map for hrs but i wanted another board or map editor or tutorial that doesnt require more downloading you think they would have it already on here with 1 GB of room it takes up.

"No built-in tutorial - tons of extra downloads req'd"
Version: Supreme Commander demo
Pros
If you like Perimeter, you will like this one. It is very similar in game play.
Cons
I was really put off by this demo. When you click on "tutorial" it forcibly activates your web browser, takes you to a website and requires you to download a ton of files on how to play the game. This would have been alot more fun and enjoyable if they had included an interactive tutorial. I don't know what the publisher was thinking when they decided to do this individual file thing to learn the game.

"Absolutely amazing game."
Version: Supreme Commander demo
Pros
This is one of the best games you are going to see for quite awhile. If you like anything to do with sci-fi, strategy, or just any PC game at all then this is a must buy.
Cons
The system requirements are a bit tough but definitely worth it.
