As mentioned in other feedback, Suck It Down chokes consistanly after 230 tranfers (or failed transfers even - any item past 230 reports as (failed) in the list). I asked the author to look at this problem, and he said he would... but no update was ever released. Its been 2 years since any activity. I'm calling it a waisted $15 and moving on.

I have tried trashing the preference files, running on 3 different Macs, nothing works. I like the interface, but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Also, the list websites feature is rather awkward. It should work like a playlist in iTunes. For those wanting to access webpages with passwords, the dev has instructions on his website.

Content is king on the Internet and Suck It Down helps you get it faster. It will download any type of data linked off a page and images on the page. By specifying extensions you an easily download images, movies, mp3s, pdfs and more. Suck It Down also provides preview for downloaded images and QuickTime compatible files, like movies and mp3s.

Version 1.6 adds the ability to download images actually on the page. This allows you to get the images you see and choose not to get images linked from the page.

It does not download entire websites, recreating all of the files in their exact locations on your drive. It does not download the HTML of the page you point it to. It does not create hierarchy, instead downloading all items in to the target folder.
