• Beware - Has Browser Hijack Malware

  Pros

  It works for recording the screen to video, once you purchase the full version and remove malware.

  Cons

  - Trial is 3 minutes max - Has nasty Malware that hijacks your browser and sets up a proxy

  Summary

  I installed this on a computer that I use daily and haven't installed anything new on in weeks. I purchased a license and less than an hour after using it my web browser settings changed my homepage to another website and proxy settings activated which disabled browsing capabilities. After a scan with Malwarebytes I had a "Binkiland.com" browser installed. Easy enough to remove it, but for a paid product this is unacceptable.

  Pros

  It did capture the streaming video automatically.

  Cons

  Could do nothing with the captured video. Could not get any other parts of the program to work right. I went to the blog site and was very disappointed with what i READ.

  I scanned the product, finding it does not contain any virus and ads, actually it's my taste to get this tool worked for m.

  Pros

  Simple interface making it easy to use. Sniffs out the video stream and automatically begins to download saving it to the computer. Shows the size of the video file that is being downloaded. If the stream cannot be found the video can still be captured by the screen capture function.

• Triggered Trojan warning in AVG on download!

  It may work - don't dare to download and install due to trojan warning

  Cons

  On download of the install file AVG anti-virus found MalsSign.Generic.8BF in the install file, warning that this was Trojan Horse malware.

  Summary

  Remove the reason for the Trojan warning (either the Trojan or it's look-a-like) and I might try it!

  Records YouTube well, once it's working.

  Cons

  Almost none of it works as advertised. Need to trouble-shoot almost everything.

  Summary

  Nothing worked as advertised. Some problems can be solved, but it's a pain. "Record screen" function has multiple problems and streaming video detection doesn't appear to actually detect very well. If you don't mind spending hours trouble-shooting, this can be a good choice, but avoid if you dislike problem-filled software.
