More powerful than its simple interface suggests, StillMotion PE is a very capable tool for creating media-rich slide shows. You select images individually or by the folder. They appear in the main application window, where you can drag and drop them into the order you like. With the toolbar-based interface, you can rotate and crop images, add labels and sound, correct contrast, and adjust brightness. You also can apply transition effects including Spin, Wipe, Dissolve, and Zoom. Output options include autoplaying a CD, a screensaver, a Flash movie, and a self-playing EXE file, all of which are viewable without special software. StillMotion PE also offers five levels each of video and sound compression, for fine-tuning the size of the output file. Our only major complaint was with the unacceptably slow performance of the included Flash movie player utility. Nevertheless, we can recommend this straightforward, reliable slide-show utility for home use.Publisher's description

"Stay away from unless you want software problems"
Pros: Was easy to download and seemed easy to use until I tried to burn my slide show.
Cons: Could not get it to copy files to cd-r,or dvd+r or any other disks.Now no programs that have to do to burniing cds or dvds on my brand new dell insperation 1525 work.
Summary: I now think I,m going to have to set my new lap top back to the factory default and lose all files on it because I no longer can burn anything.The dell tech help says I have a software problem now.I paid for this program and now my whole computer is... read more >>

Pros: As someone who recently got married, a lot of people have been sending me photos of the event. This piece of software helped me be able to present the photos in a manner which everyone can appreciate.
Cons: None that I can think of.
