Though this program offers essentially a single function, it helps you search for identical files with only a few clicks. Ssf (Search of similar files) has a familiar and uncomplicated interface, making searching for files that may contain the same name, date of creation or modification, extension, and file size easy. You only have to browse for the source file and the target drive or folder. Also, Ssf lets you choose among its options by using check boxes. The program then thoroughly scans the target storage device or folder and displays the result in a list. We like that you're able to compare the differences between files, thanks to the output window that shows the items' details. If you want to exclude or include a particular file for searching, you may use its respective tab that lets you edit the modification date and define the exact file size. However, don't try to seek additional features, because searching is the only thing it does. Further, the trial version will not search source and target folders holding more than 500 files. Anyone needing to search for multiple files that may possess similarities will surely find this utility beneficial.

Search of Similar Files (Ssf) is a powerful utility for searching of similar files on disks. Easy-to-use interface allows to narrow source and target groups of files for comparison from one file to several disks. You may use criteria of file similarity in any combination. Filters of inclusion and exclusion allow to considerably narrow the number of viewed files by their size and time of modification. While viewing found similar files you may set the display of relationship between them and also sort files by name, folder, size, or time of modification. The found similar files from target group can be selectively deleted or moved to the specified folder.
