Responds quickly & reliably. Very light on system resources.
Doesn't offer a mute function.
If you don't have a multimedia keyboard, this is a great little program for controlling volume via hot keys. Version 1.3 uses the Ctrl key + up/down arrow keys, and no longer utilizes the Windows key. I use it along with a separate program called "Sound Control" for muting.
Easy to install and uninstall. Simple.
Doesn't work with standard multimedia keys.
I was looking for something to show an On-Screen Display when I changed my volume. This only shows when I use the program's predefined hotkeys.
None that I know of since it didn't work for me.
Requires a win key which I don't have
Nice effects, simple and easy to use.
It minimizes full-screen apps. I can't use this because I wanted to change the volume while playing full-screen games such as Halo (otherwise I have to minimze and use the Windows volume utility), but by pressing the Win-Key, it minimizes it.
Very easy to install and use. I have a Woofer under my desk so the volume control is out of reach. This instant volume control is exactly what i needed.
A Mute control would have been nice instead of reducing the volume to a minimum. Maybe im just being lazy lol
If you do not have an on screen volume program, this is for you. Works well with Windows volume, has uninstall, and best of all, it is free.
Dead easy to install and use. My headphones don't have an in line volume control so this program was perfect for me.
