It is used to build and run e-commerce sites, for example, web shops, online stores, product catalogs and extranets. It is a complete platform for running successful e-commerce solutions. Workspace requires only small project expenditure and enables a short time to market thanks to pre-built components and easy-to-use management interface. Workspace is continuously developed and supported by Smilehouse. It has a well-defined software development process with long-term development roadmap.

Version 1.12 is a major update. New features include Kreditor payment system, Vietnamese language for admin area and support for product types. Improvements include for example more advanced Filemanager and Product managet GUI.
