Even in the era of MySpace and instant blogs, learning the basics of Web design is useful. SiteSpinner is a site-creation tool aimed at beginners, but with a variety of tools that will help them learn as they work. Its wide range of options is even capable of teaching professionals a few tricks. The interface is a bit cluttered, but well-designed enough to lead new users smoothly through the process of creating relatively complicated pages. Most actions, such as creating an index page, can be triggered simply by clicking the corresponding icon, and then specifying page details such as color of links, header, and background. Navigation inside the program is simple. The program doesn't help with advanced design features such as Cascading Style Sheets, but we definitely recommend it as a quick primer on basic design, and as quick way to get a site off the ground.

Installs malware
peribacilarJanuary 20, 2015
Pros
Don't know. Changed my home page without asking. That's as far as I got.
Cons
Offers you a product that will make sure nothing is installed without your knowledge, then turns around and makes Yahoo your home page, without asking. Screw you, SiteSpinner.
Summary
Changes your home page to Yahoo without notification.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jan 20, 2015<p/>581 pieces of malware to remove because it installed Vosteran in background. Changed home page, changed search engine. Spent an hour going thru all the steps to remove. Yeah, it is a real pain. You not only have to run malwarebytes, you have to do a bunch of other steps for each browser. Apparently this is CNET's fault. Not sure about that, though, but I will NEVER download anything from CNET again. I will find an alternate, SAFE downloader.

Cons

Summary
I have been using this product for about 3.5 years. I have managed to lose my codes every single time I have purchased a new computer or had to recover a computer. The support team has been quick to get me the codes in order to get my SiteSpinner up and running again. I absolutely love this product. I have managed to find many things I couldn't do. This product is great for my knowledge level of web design. I'm not a complete novice, but I'm far from an expert. This is a reliable WYSIWYG. I have even been able to put PayPal codes and other embedded codes within my page as needed.
A Program To Make That Web Site You Have Wanted To Make
BillMcCormickAugust 15, 2013
Pros
The free forum support, is the reason I use this software. The forum members, really do find solutions for anything. They understand the software, and do not drag you through the mud, or talk in riddles. I recently built a website in three hours, that would have taken me days with any other program.
Cons
The program does not decide which pictures to use in your website, you have to decide which pictures you want to display on your website yourself. Ha-ha. But I bet they are working on that.
Summary
If you are going to build shinny sites you need SiteSpinner Pro.
Great product, great support.

In addition to the product quality the tutorials, newsletters, FAQs - the entire support infrastructure is also excellent. In addition email requests for support are responded to quickly and efficiently.
Cons
Nothing significant.
Summary
The product quality and great support make SiteSpinner great value for a very reasonable price.

Excellent Product, Great Support Community
jwiley0905xJanuary 17, 2012
Pros
Ease of use. Intuitive, end-user friendly interface doesn't require a programmer to create high-quality web-sites by "regular Joe" users, but still has the technical capabilities to satisfy the needs of higher-end developers. Site Spinner allows us to develop websites for customers and deliver the ENTIRE package to them so they can easily alter and maintain their web presence.
Cons
The only issue I have ever run into with Site Spinner is that it doesn't support encrypted uploads to webhosts that require it. While this capability should be included by default, the uploads are easily handled by 3d party software. VM should address this at their earliest convenience.
Summary
I've been using Site Spinner for years. Recently, my computer crashed and, after building another, I had to reload Site Spinner. After all these years, I had misplaced my original registration info. One quick e-mail to VM and I got a very timely reply from Emma with my info and I was up and running in no-time. Not only is this a great product, it's very affordable and comes with a very responsive support staff and and outstanding community of users. If you don't have hundreds of dollar to purchase an ultra-high end web development program that you can barely understand and features that you could never take advantage of, Site Spinner IS THE solution to get your web site up and going.
Excellent product, terrific customer service

Cons
zero problems with the software.
Summary
Download and try it, you will not regret it.
Very good, I only miss a better support for css.
zekurius123November 19, 2011
Pros
1. Easy to get started with. 2. very good support! 3. With a little effort you can really use css in Sitespinner.
Cons
The biggest is that you can not edit in the code. Big minus. But as I said it is possible to use stylesheets, but not so easy.
Summary
Very good, I like it. And can really recommend it!
