Publisher's description
From Hewlett-Packard :Want to know about your company's IT infrastructure availability problems before your end users do? Use Mercury SiteScope. SiteScope is the most cost effective and robust infrastructure monitoring solution available. It's also the easiest to install, manage and maintain. SiteScope is agentless, which means you only install it on one server, not every server you're monitoring. This makes installation and maintenance fast and easy - you'll have SiteScope up and running in minutes. This is also why SiteScope offers a rapid ROI, and the lowest total cost of ownership of any monitoring solution. With more than 65 different monitors, SiteScope is so robust, it will keep your entire IT infrastructure, including network services, servers, distributed systems and applications, up and running 24x7. SiteScope lets you know about your organization's IT infrastructure, Web and application availability issues ahead of time, so you can solve them before they affect your customers and your business.

Version: SiteScope 8.0
Cons: Doesn't it drive you crazy that a publisher refuses to publish their price and instead asks that you follow down a path of unknown. To say for the License "Free to try" says absolutly nothing. Why do they think we are going to spend time going down a path when their attitude is all about secrets? Not me. I'm going to spend my time looking at software where the publisher doesn't start out playing games.

Version: SiteScope 8.0
Summary: Quite possibly the most comprehensive and cost-effecitve tool out there for Win/Unix environments. I have insisted upon it as the systems mangement standard for the two fortune 500 organizations I have been with.
