Developer’s Description

Broadcast live video via the Internet.
From the developer: SiteCam is a full-featured Web camera application for streaming live audio and video as well as time-lapse movies via the Internet. It includes a built-in Web server that streams live video to your viewer's browser without the need for third-party viewing software plug-ins. Using a multiple-document model format, SiteCam will automatically select the best streaming format for the viewer's browser and stream images to fit the viewer's available bandwidth.

Live streaming video requires a static IP address and an ISDN connection or better (DSL, cable modem, T1, and so on). However, for modem users, SiteCam can also be used with a modem dial-up connection to provide current images to a remote server using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). SiteCam will also automatically archive a history of images--so you can save images over long periods of time to track the progress of your subject and create time-lapse movies.
