SimpleDesktop provides you with access to a remote computer. Full session encryption ensures your privacy and HTTP proxy connections allow access in the most restrictive networks. Server and Router IP address upload ensures long-term remote access on DHCP dynamic IP connections and the browser-accessible server allows download of a multi-platform client from any Internet connection. An unlimited number of user sessions with chat, secure file and clipboard transfer, whiteboard and remote screen painting. User accounts with rich permissions, server side hostname and IP filtering, remote screen scaling and unlimited server port-ranges. Provides a full-featured browser Web client to access your PC without the need for a client download. Version 2.15 improves mouse responsiveness, adds a Server to Client connection to make helping users easier and allows creation of automatic connection shortcuts to specific computers.

Version 2.15 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Great free remote program

Pros
It's free, works very well, I must give it a rining endorsement. Easy to set up. I ran the server on the client computer, made a user, run simple desktop on the controlling machine and presto! The F12 to toggle full screen was a plus.
Cons
Seems a it slower than other software but not that much. I really can't complaint. Great piece of softwre.

Pros
I literally can install this program in seconds on any computer on my business network, find out its ipaddress(ipconfig), run the server, add a user name, & add a password. Bang!, its waiting... I run the viewer program on the computer, I'm sitting at, plug in the info acquired at computer stated above in new connection and it works. I have yet to run into a computer that I can't connect to on the network.

Pros
This is easily the best free remote access program around. Very quick even over my DSL, works through an HTTP proxy so I can connect from work ;) secure, file transfer, it has it all and it doesn't even have any ads or spyware. Even the support is free! Really top notch piece of freeware.

Pros
MS Netmeeting doesn't have a tenth of the features of this and the lag is totally fine if you change the color depth. Plus it doesn't have annoying adverts or spyware all over it. This is the only free remote screen app I could find that would even let you send files.
