Publisher's description
From Electronic Arts :It is a time of upheaval on Planet. The original inhabitants of Alpha Centauri have returned to reclaim their world. The aliens, though, are split in a brutal struggle. They engage in battle over Planet, nearly destroying each other in the process. The survivors jettison to Planet's surface where humanity has been building a new home. Now the humans from Earth are caught in the crossfire. Will they band together to defeat the aliens or will other alliances be formed?
Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire, the official expansion pack to the critically acclaimed Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, features seven new playable factions, several new technologies and secret projects, and a new plot that continues the story of humanity's struggle to colonize a hostile alien world.

Version: Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire demo 1.0
Summary: Because the research is so slow, the game can drag sometimes. I change the line in alpha.txt for technology discovery rate from 100% to 1000%, which speeds it somewhat. A heck of a lot of fun to play. Don't try to play it all in one sitting, though.

Version: Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire demo 1.0
"Rock-solid, technically and playability"
Summary: Amazingly well done, as good as the original. C-Man, like the other guy said - don't be stupid. And those that say the graphics are bad...are right. I can't wait until this gets to use fancy 3D hardware...this would be nice then, eh?

Version: Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire demo 1.0
"The best turn based strategy game ever."
Summary: Bar none. There is no TBS game better than this. It's many wonderful points are too numerous to discuss. Too bad it's so hard to find. P.S. C-Man, don't be stupid. A virus would do a lot more than make you reboot your computer.
