Publisher's description of Server Ping
Server-Ping is a program that will allow you to enter an unlimited number of IP or URL addresses of servers, pc, printers any device that has an IP address and ping that address at regular intervals. The IP/URL is picked randomly from the list you entered. If the program doesn't get a response it will attempt an http connection. If it fails at both the program will send a message to a desginated email address informing the receiptant of the failure or failures. The IP/URL will remain in the rotation list until 3 ping failures are reached.
At that time the IP/URL will be removed for the rotation and the list you entered until the program is restarted. The message you receive on the third failure will inform you that the IP/URL will be removed from the rotation. If it fails at a ping but gets an http response it will inform you by email and the ip/url will remain in the rotation.

Version: Server Ping 1.01B
"Easy to use, does what it said it would"
Pros: Unlimited ip entires, unlimited email entries, pings at the required intervals. Low system resources, can use other programs while it is running. Nice interface and sliders. Overall a kool program.
Cons: Would like to be able to enter an ip range rather than single ips. Also would like to have option to send email to more than one address.
