CNET Editors' review
This application blocks potentially dangerous sites from contaminating your computer, but its constant security questions are bothersome. Security Zone Manager was designed to create secure surfing while allowing the user control. The application's interface is plain but easy to use. Individually changing the settings is only suggested for experts; fortunately, you can allow Security Zone Manager to do it or revert to IE default settings. The application has three specified areas for sites: Trusted, Internet, and Restricted. Each URL is automatically placed in the Internet category, where security questions will be asked before entrance is allowed. Once you feel a site is trustworthy, place it in the Trusted category. Suspicious sites can be tossed into the restricted category. Either way, you won't be asked any security questions regarding those sites again. Users concerned with protecting their PCs from unknown sites will benefit from this software.Publisher's Description
From Plaxoft:
Security Zone Manager is the first Internet security tool to unleash the power of Microsoft Internet Explorer security zones. You can easily identify insecure Web sites and move them to the restricted zone with one click. The integrated configuration assistant helps you secure your surfing environment, and you confirm any ActiveX usage. You also can easily identify advertising providers and move them into the restricted zone.
