I've only tried it once, but it didn't put on the product's logo as one of the other commenters indicated. Worked exactly how I expected. And btw almost none of the text in the program was in German, as others have said.

The trial version places the company log on every scan ...it's annoying.

IT'S NOT FREE. What is the sense in giving the user a 20 day trial period if your going to place the software name on every page ...it's bull. Avoid at all cost.

Fast, easy to use. I remember my HP Director taking ages to scan. Using the pro feature helps scanning multiple pages at once and save as a single pdf document. On top of everything it is FREE.
Cons
You need to play around with settings before you get optimal size and zoom you want. But no qualms otherwise.

Does what it says it does, no requests for money. A real gem.Cons
Most of the settings are in German. However, you don't need to set many/any of these for the basic Scan->PDF function.
