Used SWBrowser for Windows?
Editors’ Review
We just weren't impressed by this simplistic browser program, which promises tabbed and window-in-window browsing but delivers neither. SWBrowser has a very basic interface. The toolbar has the basic navigation buttons, along with the ability to print, save, and open a new tab. The only goodie that doesn't come standard in nearly every browser is the ability to set intervals for pages to refresh.
You can easily switch browsing modes, choosing single window, tabbed, or multiwindow display. The emphasis is on "can." Only the first one worked for us in testing. No tabs, pull-down menus, icons, or other options could be found to move from window to window with the other two. You can click the button to add new tabs all day, with little effect. Oh, except for the Microsoft.Net Framework error that occurred and shut down the program a couple of times.
SWBrowser has a few customization options, but they add little real value to the program. You can remove buttons, but since there are so few, there's really no need. And the two available skins look very similar.
Like Firefox and Internet Explorer, SWBrowser is free and you can use it to view Web pages. That's where the similarities end. If you're already using a browser application that handles tabbed browsing at all, stick with what you've got, because this isn't an improvement.
