antivirus detects problem in this

free but with adware which causes antivirus to block the install !!!!

27dec14 srecorder via download.com version 2.0 709.58kb, released 25sep14, mcafee siteadvisor tried to block the download due to adware in it ill try not to install, avira detects appl/downloader.gen and blocks access to it in the installer ! Even though I declined the adware eg set yahoo as homepage, avira antivirus began scanning my pc due to this , rubbish like this is why i dont use download.com very much any more

Maybe it works on some other systems? Skipping / Declining the adware seems effective.
Cons
On my ATI / Windows 8.1 the MP4 file it created wouldn't play on any of 3 players I tried. Had to carefully Skip and Decline an array of adware during installation.
