This product has no pros, no redeeming qualities. It's a scam. As scamsters I'm sure the company will go bankrupt soon as their business model is silly.

This is marginally good at best analysis software that DOES NOT build links and the SCAM part is that even though you pay a high purchase price the software STOPS WORKING if you don't pay a HEFTY MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION supposedly because the "search engines" have updated their algorithms, which we all know happens daily so what does that have to do with their CRAPPY SOFTWARE? who knows. DON'T BUY IT IT'S A SCAM -- SCAMMERS -- RUN AWAY NOW AND TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH YOU -- SEO SPYGLASS SUCKS -- sucks I say! **** poor, weak! Run!

If your new to an industry, building links can take a long time, however with seo spy glass you can reduce this time by seeing the links your competitors have, choosing the quality links and potentially create new one for your company. First class product

This program is a rip off. I paid for it and I just had to fill out about 50 Captchas to get through one website analysis. But what a surprise they sell you an anticaptcha program to deal with this problem - but you can't make it work while the program is running so if you have invested a lot of time (hours) into a large site analysis you either are forced to continue doing the Captchas or abort and start again. Why did I pay money for this? It also only pays for doing about 1000 captchas - so about 20 websites and then you get to pay again YAY

Summary
I'm not sure about SEO agencies or such, but when it comes to owners of small sites like myself, it's the only SEO tool you need. I'm not that keen on checking my rankings as I don't have that many keywords and I don't have to report to anybody on them. But backlinks... that's what I'm really looking into attentively. I use SEO SpyGlass to research both links to my site and competition backlinks. I like monitoring my own link progress with SpyGlass more than with Google Webmaster Tools because there are way more factors reported on, and SpyGlass keeps them better organized. I also use it to check my competitors' backlinks. I just see what me niche fellows are doing and replicate as much as I can.

The program might work OK. I don't know because I never got it to work.
Cons
I purchased this program as part of SEO PowerSuite over a year ago. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the program to run and by the time I figured it out (Link Assistant closed my support request unanswered), the money back guarantee had expired. As only six months algorithm updates were included in the purchase price, the program no longer runs. Updates are expensive and I won't be wasting any more money trying to get this to work with no help from the software developer.
