"The best convertor i've used!"
Version: RoadMovie 2.1.1
Pros
Easy UI.
It fills the metadata info automatically for you.
You can add more than one subtitle using soft subs.
No limitation in this app, you can edit whatever you want with your video using this app (Sound, Video Subs etc....).Cons
A little over priced (Unless if you are an old costumer, then you would get discounts).
Some Bugs needed to be fixed.Summary
If you want to feel like you are converting a video in a mac style, this is your app, believe me.... you wont find a better app.

"Might work, might now"
Version: RoadMovie 1.7.1
Pros
If it did as promises, it would be my one stop app for conversion of video from the 'net and eyeTV.
Cons
You don't get to really try it out.
Crashes constantly.
Resource hog.Summary
"No limitations" my tushie! You only get to do 3 minutes until you cough up the dough! Why should I if I don't even get to really test it out?!?!
Crashed every single movie I put it on for the three different systems I tried to get it to work. I've tried researching the problem online and even their own website, but to no avail!
I think it is a great idea. I just don't think they've got Road Movie in working order (ver 1.7.1). But mainly, I don't like being lied to about the limitations on the trial version. If they change it later on, it is only because people are figuring out that they are full of it. -

"A real Mac app"
Version: RoadMovie 1.2.1
Summary

It's well written. Elegant, functional and complete.
Impressive that it's only version 1.x. Few adds and it will be the best Mac app for video conversion.
I'm very happy with this tool; absolutely reccomended! -
"A great program and especially handy for subtitles"
Version: RoadMovie 1.0
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
As a registered user of the wonderful program Submerge I was curious to see what RoadMovie had to offer. I have been using VisualHub and it works quite well but adding subtitles required the use of Submerge and added extra steps. I am happy to report that RoadMovie makes it a one-step process. This is a wonderful utility and I found the layout and interface to be exceptionally well done especially when compared to the competition.
This is an initial release and it does not have the ability to burn a disc of the encoded data. I hope that this is a feature which is added in the not-too-distant future, please/thank you.
As this is the first release of the software there are some gaps in the online documentation but the very intuitive nature of the program makes this a very minor omission and I would expect the documentation to grow with the features of the program.
I have had occasion to email JÒ¶rgen and his replies were very prompt and thorough. I would say that customer support will be well above average.
I recommend this program without hesitation.
