This registry maintenance utility works hard to keep your system running at top performance, but some features did not work properly. Registry Sweeper launches in a neatly designed, skinnable interface, although it prompts an image size error when launched. The program both cleans and compacts your registry. Both functions have wizard-like functionality to guide you through the process. Registry Sweeper automatically backs up your system registry before cleaning. The cleaning process proved to be fast and effective in our tests, although it can only clean 50 found errors at a time. For advanced users, the compact maintenance tool for repairing structural damages on registry entries will come in handy, although it requires a system reboot to take effect. Additionally, the program includes a Startup Manager to configure your startup programs and processes. However, the Repair IE and Other Utilities feature that comes with this package produced errors and failed to function during our tests. Nonetheless, users looking for quick, efficient, and reliable tool may find this 21-day trial program adequate.
