It installed and it didn't damage my computer or programs.
Didn't repair anything even though it said it repaired thousands of problems. Optimizer didn't speed up my computer. Nag screen said trial period was over from the very first scan. It left registry errors and files when it uninstalled it.
This program is obviously a scam to get you to buy software. Anyone who likes this software was tricked. It didn't let me view errors before fixing them. It didn't automatically take a backup. It created errors in my registry and left files when I uninstalled it, which is one of the reasons people have to have a registry repair program.
It was very fast and pulled lots of stuff out of my registry.
A day after I used it, my computer froze. I had to restart it. A couple hours later, the computer crashed. It just suddenly restarted on its own. The likely culprit was the "cleaning" RegVac performed. When I went to the Undo screen, there was no undo entry shown. I had to manualy locate and run it from the install folder. Where, curiously, there was also a zero-length undo entry that had just been created. Scary stuff. BTW, I have a masters degree in computer science and have been in software development for 25 years. I'm not a competitor. I just know something about software. And this software has problems. Serious problems.
Never thought that just a small piece of 1.13MB software helps my windows, it works! it fixed! I used and spent so much money on those registry cleaner/repair softwares all do the same things to me even worse,I tried many kind of different company registry cleaner software, registry mechanic, registry medic,CCleaner,Abexo,RFA,Ashampoo,Registry repair,WinASO,Regdoctor...etc all of them give me the same results, but Regvac! Thank you so much! You rocks! My windows keep on restarting when click on control panel just dont know what happen, think it might be control panel registry damaged and decided to try this thing! Whoa it really does what it says! Thanks!!!
p/s: different registry cleaner has their own best function to solve different problems on it. RegVac is the best for myself not mean it will help u solve the windows problem, but why not get a try? If you willing to pay for it. ;)
To upgrade to the newest version you have to download and install a different executable to actually download the application itself. Two downloads and two installations just to upgrade is ridiculous and pitiful. It punishes everyone including it's loyal customers like myself who have bought most of their programs (RegVac, WinRescue 98 - XP and A1Click PC Cleaner) over the past four years but never again. It's too much of a pain to get the newest version. Make an online activation and get rid of the ignorant double installation crap and I might be a customer again.
