CNET Editors' review
This feature-packed browser program offers a good alternative to continuously hitting F5 or the Refresh button. Refresher offers the standard features to navigate the Web, and its simply designed interface includes an address bar, toolbar, file menu and the familiar navigational options. The program's claim to fame is its automatic Refresh feature. There are straightforward Start/Stop buttons, and you can easily choose frequency in minutes or seconds. It worked as promised, using several different refresh rates.
Refresher throws in some bonus features so you can create reminders or set a timer to shut down or log off. It even includes a simple HTML editor. Unlike Firefox and other browsers that allow you to open multiple tabs in one window, Refresher's Dual Browser option only permits two pages displayed side by side.
This handy freeware browser covers all the basics, with some effective extras that go beyond surfing the Web. If you frequently monitor auctions and other quickly-changing Web sites, you'll like this keystroke-saving freeware.
Publisher's Description
From Refresher:
Refresher lets you automatically refresh Web pages at custom intervals. Useful for updating sports results (BBC), Web mail (i.e. hotmail) or on-line auctions. You can also use a dual & tabbed browser mode where you can refresh, navigate & view two different websites simultaneously. You can also program Refresher to remind you or shut down the computer at a specific time. Refresher also incorporates a complete help reference for troubleshooting. Version 1.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"It does certainly refresh but ...."
Version: Refresher 1.2
Pros
It does refresh and you can set the amount of time to refresh.
Cons
When having 2+ pages open within refresh the buttons at the top do not work correctly all the time. Sometimes the arrow to start refresh and the stop refresh go light grey. When trying to stop it using the toolbar and selecting stop does not work
Summary
Because I daily need two pages refreshing and not just one, it is hard to get the program to stop. The only way I have found to make this work is to make the pages less than full page and use the arrow keys at the top that let you open a drop-down box and can select stop, it works, but at full page none of the ways to stop the page work. When you have two pages open all the buttons go grey and the only one that works is the arrow key to restart the refresher program. It will not remember previously entered information for logins, if it could remember say 3, that would be excellent. The browswer is fast and will run a long time. If that were repaired, I would give it an A+ but without it, it is a B+.

"Free and does exactly what is says on the tin! Thanks."
Version: Refresher 1.2
Pros
Simple to install, lots of useful features. Obviously not a direct replacement for explorer, but quick, user-friendly and does the job I need. I found it quick to load pages and also found a few extra features not in other browsers - such as dual pane browsing. Very fast support aswell. I'm using Win XP. Cheers
