This freeware offers a wide array of recipes and lets you add your own, but it isn't always intuitive to use. Recipe 3000's drab-looking interface has just a few buttons and a fixed view screen that doesn't allow you to view longer entries. Oddly, you need to click the Edit button to scroll through the whole recipe. Filter and enter recipes by categories with an unfriendly pull-down menu that includes appetizers, main dishes, and salads, but there are some inexplicable entries such as '4sg' that contain no recipes. In addition, some categories appear similar, for example, Dips, Dips and Spreads, and Dips/Spreads, but each offers different recipes. You can print, edit and group recipes into user-added cookbooks, but there's no search tool offered. The help file isn't accessible from the program, though it can be opened from the program's folder. This flawed program won't appeal to most, and its unfriendly design and quirky navigation may baffle the novice.Publisher's description
From Harmon Technologies :Recipes 3000 is a program that you will need to manage all of your recipes. Instead of hearing "What's for supper?" you'll be hearing "Let me help you find a new recipe!". This program is fun and easy to use. You can get the whole family involved in deciding what to eat.

Version: Recipes 3000 1
Pros: I tried other Menu/Recipe/Cookbook programs that were either bloated or didn't work. This program is small, gets the job done and is free. I contacted them about a question and they got back to me immediately. You can search recipes by catagory or keyword, cut and paste and print recipes. Overall a nice product.
Cons: As Bartowik9 said, there is a splash screen and the help button doesn't seem to work, but the program is fairly intuitive, so for the most part you shouldn't need it. If necessary, just go into the program files and open the help file. I also had a problem adding and removing catagories but there are enough provided so that also is not a big problem.
