"Tried to install this program twice but
it failed."Version: Recipe To Go 1.0
Pros
No pros for me.
Cons
Tried to install this program twice. Both times it failed to install MS-SQL
Summary
During install, it failed to install MS-SQL and therefore could not finish installing the program.
This was on a computer running Windows XP/SP3, 1Gig RAM and with 46Gig free space on C-drive.
It did remove the downloaded SQL temporary installation files, but left behind 3 folders of the partial SQL Server in C:/Program Files which I had to uninstall manually.
Not a good experience. -

"Not bad at all, seems to work as promised."
Version: Recipe To Go 1.0
Pros
easy to use, closer to what I was looking for and is the best i have tried so far regarding free recipe programs
Cons
didn't find anything glaring that I didn't like
Summary
Not to bad a program seems to deliver what it sets out to do... will do until I find something better....
-
"its ok but not great."
Version: Recipe To Go 1.0
Pros
easy to use and straight foreward
Cons
spent 3 hours typing out recipes only to lose every one the next time i opened the program. i even made sure they were saving to the program properly. indexing could be fixed to recognize key words instead of alphabetizing.
Summary
if you want to waste a lot of time this program is the one i guess. there is no excuse for a data entry program that is not able to save data properly. unfortunately i will giving out a bad review for this program.

"Easy to use compared to other recipe programs I tried."
Version: Recipe To Go 1.0
Pros
Easy to enter recipes and print. The recipe email feature is terrific and grocery list.
Cons
Nothing really, just like the ease of use.
-
"Okay program"
Version: Recipe To Go 1.0
Pros
Comes with over 300 recipes, prints full-page sheets nicely.
Cons
Search tool only finds first letters of recipe name. (If I search "meatloaf", it WON'T find "Mexican Meatloaf"!) Print layout NOT flexible. Using index cards is impossible: text is too small. In-program ads are annoying, $10 gets them out.
Summary
Program is okay, if you already know your recipes and don't need to search for them. Description should have mentioned ad-driven revenue model.
-
"Very user friendly, wonderful product!"
Version: Recipe To Go 1.0
Pros
Easy to enter recipes.
The "Quick Recipe To Go" feature is very useful ... it allows you to list recipes by types and categories to choose from ... for example, you can view all stored recipes that are appetizers that are Italian made.Cons
Don't see any.
