I have satellite and it slowed my connection down from 1100k to 650k. It uninstalled easily but left its keepalive program on my comp. It did not clean the registry. I deleted the keepalive program and used Tweaknow to fix the registry then used Cablenut to fix my connection. I dont know about DSL or cable but for satellite users "run dont walk" away from this one. Its useless for satellite.

the automated feature of this aplication slowed my connection down to 26kb/s from 83kb/s (still slow for 1mb)
after manually setting the mtu tho i have managed to get it to speed :)

This product has no effect on web page loading or download speeds. I have tried several others over the years on various computers. None of them including this one works.

I optimized my DSL selecting PPPoE. My downloads were actually 10-20kbps slower than usual! Than I optimized "normal" and it increased my internet speed 10kbps faster for like 10 seconds before going back to normal. This program did not work for me but at least it was easy to return my settings back to normal and uninstall the thing.

Summary
i have tried mostly all of the programs that will increase my internet (dail-up) connection speed even though they work RealSpeed has improved it even more and my download speed used to be at 3.2 kb/sec now its about 6 or 7 kb/sec
