Editors' reviewWhen all is said and done, this tool for working with images scores the biggest points for its extensive collection of image-editing tools. It's nice that ReaConverter Pro doesn't take up much space on your machine, and we're equally pleased to report the program can work with a huge variety of image formats. The wizard-style interface is easy to grasp, though the help file leaves some of the more advanced features undocumented. ReaConverter Pro boasts a large set of tools for tweaking images, allowing you to adjust such parameters as color values, sharpness, contrast, and blur. You also can apply watermarks and add borders, though the program does lack the fancy effects and filters found in full-blown graphic-design suites. A preview window lets you test edits before you apply them, and you can add as many to a photo as you'd like. True to its name, the application also works as a converter, letting you output files in such popular formats as JPEG, BMP, and PNG. Be aware that the trial version can process only five files in a row. Seasoned users who often work with large numbers of images should consider ReaConverter Pro.
ReaConverter Pro is a batch image converter with an unrivaled number of supported graphics file formats: more than 400, including PDF, JPG, PNG, EPS, and AI. Understandable on a hunch, ReaConverter Pro makes image conversion and oft-recurring picture editing simple for you. The program can rename files (advanced options are available), and edit images (crop, rotate, image resizer, mirror, sharpen, blur, detail, smooth, contour, stamp, and change resolution and color intensity). ransparent watermarking and borders can be added as well. When processing images, ReaConverter Pro optionally keeps EXIF information that can be used for advanced renaming or watermarking.
