This application lets users back up important files as well as system and application files, although features that set it apart from the crowd are not available in this demo. RX2 Master Backup works as a wizard, and it makes backing up files more straightforward. Selecting files to back up is easy, and the program is impressive at backing up important files of various applications including Microsoft Office applications, IE, and Windows Media Player.

It also includes important features such as file compression and password protection. You can send backup files to other people, and they can easily restore files without having a copy of the program installed in their computers. However, it's disappointing to know that the trial program disables the scheduling of backup jobs.

Although we were excited by the opportunity to back up Outlook Express and customize a list of files and folders that would be frequently backed up, we found that these features are available only in the registered version. In our tests, RX2 Master Backup worked fine and restoring files was easy. Despite the demo limitations, this tool can handle any level of user's backup tasks.

For transferring e-mail (Outlook, Outlook Express, IncrediMail, and Eudora) and Browser settings (IE, Mozilla, Netscape, and Opera) but more settings transferred also.

Version 1.04 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
