This free software scans your Web site and quickly creates a sitemap to boost search engine accessibility, but don't expect the output to be anything fancy. ROR Sitemap Generator hoists small sites into the big leagues by creating XML code to improve search engine rankings. Its straightforward interface offers a few appropriately labeled buttons and one input box for your URL. Type in the URL, and the program crawls your site and spits out the generated sitemap in XML. Fortunately for beginners, you'll only need to copy and paste the code onto your page or you can save the code to your hard drive. Adding the code adds two buttons to a page on your site ROR and Info and clicking either of them displays a simple list of your site's URLs. We'd like to see more pizzazz in the design, but if any part of a site can be uninspired, the sitemap is it. Novice designers of small sites will love the fact they don't need to know code to create a sitemap and should check out this simple, free program to increase their site's marketability.

Pros: small program
Cons: it did not work.
Summary: It did nothing. I don't know why, but there it is. It flashed "crawling website" but processed no urls. There is no help file, no troubleshooting. Just uninstall it.

"nonfunctional"
Cons: There may have been a time when this routine was functional. However, currently it cannot even find an URL presented to it. I note that on the website there is a web-based version. It is also apparently no longer operating. Note that this program requires an early versin of the .NET ramework to be installed on the host computer.

"Pretty nifty and free to boot!"
Pros: Seems to handle dynamic urls well. Very simple.
Cons: 5000 url limit so can't do super large sites.

"So Far So Good"
Pros: The start up for trial run that im going thought right now and it seems to be fairly easy for the semi educated
Cons: The fact that I had a hard time logging in my pass word and username was crossed or somthing?
