QuickSnooker is a fast and fun simulation of the classic billiard table game. Play Snooker and pool against cunning computer opponents or join the fun with hundreds of players on-line. Fast, smooth and accurate, Quicksnooker lets you play like a Pro after just a few shots--other snooker games are tediously difficult. QuickSnooker makes potting easy and puts the emphasis on fun, speed, strategy and positional play.

Congratulations. I,ll be practicing more so watch out you top five. Eileen is right behind you with her gang of smileys..lolll
i came accross this game 2 weeks ago i played the 7 day trial and was hooked, i bought the game so i can enjoy the full snooker version and also the different table layouts which you dont get on the trial version.
i dont think they is anything i dislike about the game other than maybe the fiendish level is maybe too fiendish to beat
i enjoy the game because it is quick and easy to learn, runs smooth even on my 2 year olcustomer service is excellent, i had to email the owner over a problem and with in a few hours i had a replie and my problem was rectified, i especially like the hex table to play snooker on its great fun
try it and buy it i say
Easy to learn and to play. Great graphics even if your hardware isn't hightec. Enough competition when playing the hard and fiendish AI and when you have enough of them, just enter the online waiting room and play against people all around the world.
Although it's already very realistic, I would like to see the realism taken to a next level. Better physics for balls and table and an even more realisticly playing AI. Longer (more frames) matches is one of the things missing at the moment.
I'm playing this game for nearly 4 months now and I like it very much. It's easy to understand, simple interface and it's very nice to do all actions by only using the mouse. Playing against one of the 4 AI's is fun and a great way of learning the game and improving your skills. The online community is very friendly and helpful and consists of all kinds of levels in play. All in all a great game which is among the best in its genre.
Really good graphics that don't drain resources, simple, clear interface, any level of skill will be rewarded by great breaks and very enjoyable games both against the computer or online against others. Definitely THE best game I have ever played!!
There is very little not to like, needless to say one has to practice (as with any skill based activity) to begin to master the art of playing it! Apart from that - there is no down side.
I'm so glad that I stumbled across this product on cnet.com, it has given me hours and hours of enjoyment, both playing against the computer, playing online against other opponents and chatting and communicating with other like mided snooker lovers. The interface is clear and concise, the mouse plays all the functions (almost), so no awkward kystrokes to fiddle with - and no list to memorise or clutter my desk. A really solid, fully functioning, top of the range snooker game! Go buy it!
In the free version, I enjoyed pool, and snooker would come up, after a few games of pool. I enjoyed the game for a while, fun game. The two dimensional screens make it easier to play and run on smaller or older computers. The guidelines show where the cueball, and other balls will travel. Helpful for learing to play the game.
I noticed that the statistics of wins and losses were completely false.
After an undefined number of pool games, the game would change to snooker. Although it was often a welcomed change, there was no control. The file menu choices give you only pool, and snooker is advertised as an available paid for upgrade.
After running anti-spyware, and anti-adware programs, Quick Snooker would not work anymore. First, said it was a direct X error, then after checking Direct X, then re-installing Quick Snooker, it still doesn't work. I reinstalled Quick Snooker, and ran the anti-spyware scan again, but did not find any spyware problem. Maybe after rebooting my system it could work, but I haven't done that yet.
Hi - Nick here - Author of QuickSnooker.
The game did not, does not, and never will contain adware, spyware or tracking.
You have stated that running anti-adware/spyware 'broke' the QuickSnooker installation - but this does not necessarily mean it ever contained any.
From the other errors you report (the change of game type) I would guess the spyware program blocked or undid legitimate registry changes made by QuickSnooker.
I'm glad you lke the program overall - and would very much encourage you to download the latest version which has many improvements from http://www.quicksnooker.com/download/qssetup.exe
many different games, like 8/9 ball pool and short snooker. online playing with many other players. tracks your best break so no faking. easy to use the mouse to aim, add side spin and shoot, unlike cue club.
it's 2D, but that doesn't really matter to me. not totally like the real game, but it has improved my real snooker game alot. i used to pot about 10 plus points with 1 cue (normally 30 points plus in 1 game), now i get 20 to 30 points regularly with 1 cue, getting about 50 to 60 points a game.
