If you subscribe to SiriusXM in the US or to either Sirius or XM in Canada, you can get online access to premium radio content. Unfortunately, tuning in with a browser is clunky at best. With Pulsar and an online satellite radio account, you can access all this great content directly from your desktop!
What's new in this version:
- Pulsar now correctly follows the channel lineup provided by Sirius (eliminating incompatible channels).
- Track titles for non-playing stations should again work for Sirius Canada users.
- It's now possible to change channels from the background in Grid or Favorites view.
- Pulsar now includes the in-window Trial Mode badge.

"Great program for SiriusXM Online Subscribers"

Pros
Pulsar is a great little program (Mac only) that lets you stream a Sirius XM online account through an application rather than your browser - a better UI, and has pause and rewind. Also some limited controls from the dock - pause, mute, next, etc.
Cons
Nothing really, but it would be nice for them to add some more dock controls - or at least perhaps "Now Playing."

I recently purchased XM Online and could not get audio through my mac. After a week of exhaustive troubleshooting with XM, I decided to check if anyone made their own interface, and was lucky enough to run across Pulsar. One minute later I was up and running! Looks great and, more importantly, works great. Best $15 I ever spent! -

Super easy to download and use...love the graphics...and so far it has worked perfectly every time.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to listen to their satellite radio online!
