Publisher's description
From 80soft.com :President Forever 2008 is a sophisticated strategy simulation that delivers both gameplay and realism. President Forever 2008, which has been completely rebuilt from the 2004 edition, includes all presidential elections from 1992 through 2008. The default set-up covers the primaries and general election for 2008, including 16 default candidates from both major parties.
The goal is simple: win enough Electoral College votes to win the election. The latest release also allows candidates to achieve specific goals without winning the election. You are responsible for all aspects of your candidates election strategy: planning and buying advertising, conducting fundraising, giving speeches, recruiting high-profile and grassroots supporters and spinning news.

Version: President Forever 2008 + Primaries
"Forever ?? Appeal lost to Double Dissolution"
Pros: The only difference between the demo & full game appears to be the ability to create & edit characters.
It's a basic game that works on basic computers.
You don't really need to buy it, just play the demo & when you get bored delete it.
Cons: The appeal of the game is cut short (like a double dissolution election (sorry Aussie term)) once you understand what you are doing. That's because there isn't much depth available. FP 2008 appears to be little more than a rebadged older version. Many real life activities ain't avaliable like fake advertising, political espionage & funding of 'independent' political attack squads. Extra feature would improve it, however as it stands this game is for 10 years ago.
