This program provides most of the necessary tools for erasing evidence of your journeys through cyberspace. Powerful Cookies removes Web-surfing traces from Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Opera. It also cleans up certain areas of the Windows system, including the Recent Documents history, the Recycle Bin, and the Run menu.
We especially like a feature that automatically cleans up each time you exit your browser. Powerful Cookies now offers support for a number of third-party applications, though not nearly as many as some of its competitors. It also has a file shredder, a very simple scheduler, and an option for securely overwriting your virtual tracks. The shredder integrates with the Windows right-click menu and offers several secure deletion methods.
In our tests, the program's features worked just fine, though some users might find the 10-day trial a bit short. Still, Powerful Cookies offers more than enough positives to make it worth considering.

To protect your privacy and improve your system's performance, Powerful Cookies can delete cookies, clean index.dat files, clean the cache, erase the recent documents history, clear the Recent Documents list, remove temporary files, free hard-drive space, erase typed URLs, wipe auto complete-form data, and empty files and temp folders. The application supports plug-ins for cleaning third-party application tracks. Web browsers only provide partial privacy protection by allowing some temporary Internet files and cookies to be deleted, but they do not wash data out of all the hidden files, nor do they delete the data securely.
