PowerFolder directly connects computers and allows to exchange all kind of data, which you want to sync or share between multiple computers. It automatically detects new or changed files and keeps all your computers in sync. All transfers are encrypted and downloads from multiple sources are supported, also PowerFolder is only transferring the changed part of a file and stores previous file versions in a file archive.

"All support pushes paying them to set it up."
Pros: The software is not bad. Seems to be rather robust and stable. Pricing is pretty much in line with the industry. Ability to sync or backup or both is beneficial for many clients.
Multiple options for storage site as well.Cons: The documentation appears deliberately vague. Do not expect clear detailed instructions. No phone support. They don't answer the email. Online chat sends you the same vague articles. Then they offer to set it up for you- for a high fee of course.
Summary: If you are pretty good at figuring out these kinds of things and have extra time to do so, this is an okay choice. I don't have time to waste nor the money to pay them $300 to set up a server software far less complicated than most I work with ever... read more >>
