Publisher's Description
From RedLeg Software:
Besides handling an endless list of different pop windows and mechanisms Pop Cop also blocks four different levels of advertisements and immediately removes the associated cookies and scripts that can be used to monitor or spy on your surfing behavior. All blocking methods are based on logic; Pop Cop thinks as real Popup Killer for you and with you. In practice this means that most of the time you will simply be surfing with default settings and in case no blocking is desired you can simply turn it off or temporarily pause it by holding down the Ctrl Key. If this is not enough there is the possibility to handle Web sites via a layered White- and Blacklist.
Version 2.1.4.1 adds hide in system tray on Windows startup adjustment.

"Great Product, Great Customization"
Version: Pop Cop 2.1.2.1
Summary
I first got this program a while back when popups were a simple annoyance and not a barrage. there weren't many options then, but once I had this software, I decided I didn't need anything else. I recommend this to anyone who likes to have a hand on what does and does not get through, because this will let you choose. For the sake of your sanity and for your internet enjoyment, give this program a try.

"Excellent popup blocker among other things"
Version: Pop Cop 2.1.2.1
Summary
Why I haven't used a lot of other popup blockers, I am very impressed with this one. Even at it's lowest setting it blocks the vast majority of popups. The higher settings give you a great degree of control in preventing browser hi-jackers, ActiveX installations (block, allow - permanently based upon the issuer), scripts, applets, etc - generally controlling how Internet Explorer views web sites.
I highly recommend it.
