"bugs in politemail and poor support"
Version: PoliteMail Email Marketing for Outlook 2.01
Pros
It tracks email from Outlook.
Cons
Plenty of problems with this product:
1. It doesn't track all email, at least 10% will not be tracked.
2. The tracker causes spam blockers to block about 12% of the emails from my experience.
3. The tracker causes the links to look suspicious in plain text. In plain text the link will be 50 characters long. If your customer uses plain text email, you will lose the sale for sure.
4. Importing contacts from Outlook contact folders is buggy. I reported the problem, never heard from support.
5. Support sucks. They will give you a FAQ answer from their website. If that doesn't work, then they will not respond to anymore questions.
6. This program is expensive for what you get. Plenty of other newsletter programs out that do not have the bugs.
