• Load, installs but won't run

  It downloads, install but freezes after logo shows. First several attempts to load Avira should & virus & malware. After several attempts It installs but then freezes after logo appears. On;y way to get logo off screen is to reboot system. Was a great ptogram with older program, so was very anxious to gt newer version. Zero stars

• Dangerous Software! Do NOT download!

  Pros

  In theory,at least,this should be great photo-editing software,but it has become far too big and complicated,and the UI is overcrowded with too many small and unintuitive icons. However,the real reason I gave just 1* is stated below.

  Cons

  The download is FULL of virus and malware dangers. I tried to download on 2 different PC's with different anti-virus software,and each time I tried to download from their website,my AV blocked it immediately,warning it contained Trojans and the website itself was a "known" malicious one. You have been warned...

  If you have a lifetime to learn it. It no doubt would work for you. It's scary to look at and I can't find anything that I used to use in the old vision.

  Cons

  The older version was clean looking and intuitive to use. Like just about everything on the web, they decided to "improve it" and now I had to uninstall it and I'm finding another photo editor.

  Summary

  Like I said, if you have a lifetime to learn it then it may be what your looking for. I just want a basic editor. I'm not into all this program does now.

  I used to love Photo Pos Pro...used it all the time. Now I can barely get it to work...can't find half of what I need...it's too much trouble. I'll definitely be looking for something else.

  Pros

  a professional editor capable for advanced tasks, a lot of editing tools, the basics are easy to use but you'll have to spend some time to learn the advanced ones

  if you not have experience you'll have to learn how to use it

  Too complicated. Not intuitive at all, and I've used a number of photo editors. When I tried to shut it down, it crashed. I just want to edit product photos for eBay and Etsy - don't need all this fancy stuff.

  Pros

  Free. Layers. Pretty much a scaled down version of Paintshop Pro.

  Cons

  Installs malwareprotectionlive.exe without notification or permission. Oh the Irony. Also installed something called au.exe Not sure what that was.

  Summary

  The best free graphics editor I've found. Too bad they gave into shady practices. Run MalwareBytes after install.

  as it did not launch , tried to uninstall which it did not , after scan avast reported file infected so it deleted it .i got my PC working back thanx to avast....
